Create a Beakin
Every Beakin user can be the influencer and leader within their community by creating quality get-togethers among their family and friends. Whether you want to send a signal to your community to attend your at-home movie night or have them join you for an impromptu catch-up at a local coffee shop, your journey with your community can go as far as you can imagine on Beakin!
Before you begin:
You must have at least one kin.
To create a Beakin:
Go to the navigation bar located at the bottom of the screen and tap the + icon in the center of the navigation bar.
Set the date of the Beakin.
Add a start time and a duration. You will notice an end time will display after selecting a duration length.
You can set a location by using one of two options:
Use current Location: Toggle the location switch to auto-fill your current location. NOTE: To edit the displayed current location, toggle the location switch off and edit the addres.
Manually search for or type in an address.
On this next screen, you will add a title, a short description, and an optional link. Once completed, tap the "Next" button.
Upload images or search for a GIF to represent your Beakin. Tap the "Next".
Now, search and select kin by tapping on their profile picture, searching their name, and/or selecting your circles. Selecting the circle will auto-selects all kin in that circle.
Tap the "Next" button.
Now let's set your Beakin privacy setting.
If you select private, only the invited kin can see the Beakin.
If you select shareable, only the invited kin receive the notification, but others who see the Beakin can follow and share it with their respective kin.
Tap the "Next" button.
On this next screen, you'll get a chance to review the summary of your Beakin details. If everythings look good, tap "Post"!
And just like that, you've successfully created your Beakin. Your kin will be notified, and your community-building journey begins
